“I’m very excited to release my new Family Affair Scrapbook,” Garver said. “The colorful book is a pleasant pictorial pastiche of treasured memories and text on my Emmy-nominated and award-winning classic sitcom. My show has meant so much to so many. Many fans have grown up with this heartwarming comedy-drama and new generations discover it for the first time on channels such as Decades or platforms like Amazon Prime and Roku.

Garver went on to say that Family Affair was one of the first color series when it debuted in 1966. The stories, the humor, the style all remain relevant today. She’s proud that the beloved ’60s show now appeals to a wide audience who can sit back, relax and sip a taste of comfort and nostalgia.

No stranger to the desert region, Garver owned a condominium in Palm Springs for 30 years; received a Golden Palm Star on the Palm Spring Walk of Stars; worked as a consultant with the Palm Springs Chamber of Commerce; interviewed celebrities on his local show called Star Watch; and has many friends, including his brother, who all reside in the Palm Springs area.

“I can’t wait to see fans and friends at Just Fabulous on December 5, relive our fun past experiences and create new ones,” Garver said. “It’s a fantastic way to kick off the 2021 holiday season to buy autographed copies of my book for themselves or to give as gifts.”
