“We look forward to improving access to primary health care services for residents of Palatine and surrounding areas,” said Bob Tanner, president and CEO of Greater Family Health. “Our expanded presence and continued partnership with the existing health care system in the Northwest suburbs will not only increase access to care, but reduce costs and improve the overall health of the region,” Tanner concluded.

The North West Community Hospital Foundation has shared considerable resources to support the renovation and equipping of the Palatine site. Greater Family Health and Northwest Community Hospital have a long-standing partnership, which began in 2013 when Greater Family Health began planning its Wheeling Health Center. “The generosity of the Foundation was absolutely instrumental in making this health center a reality,” continued Mr. Tanner.

A groundbreaking/dedication ceremony will likely take place in May, depending on the state of the pandemic.
