AFTER a two-year wait, TFC Events is hosting their first in-person concert, “Revelation: The US Tour,” featuring original pop prince Dingdong Avanzado and phenomenal diva Jessa Zaragoza with their daughter Jayda, the new wonder of the music.
The concert tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for all music lovers who will be delighted with the “revelations” of this family of performers with musical inclinations and multiple awards.
Conceptualized by Anvanzado, the Revelation Concert Tour will present a repertoire that combines the couple’s nostalgic songs and the latest hits from Jayda’s debut album.
Asked about the title of the concert, Avanzado said, “The concept of the revelation came to me at the end of last year. We were here in the United States at that time and I remember attending Bible studies. We met and learned a lot from the book of Revelation.
“I’ve realized that during this pandemic, there’s so much being revealed to us in so many aspects of our lives. We’ve discovered some things about ourselves that we probably didn’t realize we had or who we were. At the same time, it feels like a perfect vehicle for a big reveal for Jayda, her new ventures and accomplishments as a singer, songwriter and entertainer,” Avanzado said.
Another layer of this “revelation,” he said, is that they will also be celebrating more than two decades of their marriage. “We’re going to be celebrating 21 years of marriage. We’re going to reveal a lot about our marriage,” he said. “And we’ll also want to reveal more things like the stories behind the songs like why and how we got them. do,” he added.
Zaragoza, for her part, said she was grateful for the opportunity to be the first to hold a live concert in the United States. “We feel so blessed. We will do our best for this concert. There is a lot of pressure on us. But we will make our audience love the show,” she said.
The Avanzados, who lived in northern California, said they were also excited to play with their “kababayans”.
“It’s really an amazing experience for me to be able to be part of this event and not just as a milestone in terms of my career in the sense that it’s one of the first shows I’ll be playing with my first debut album. now in the world. The first live show I did was back in early 2020 before the pandemic hit, so that’s really a big thing. But I’m also excited about our kababayans, because it’s This is an important milestone for the Filipino community as this is one of the first official returns to the live concert scene,” said Jayda.
“There’s nothing like playing with a live audience. The timing is perfect and everything went according to plan,” Avanzado said, noting that especially now that COVID restrictions appear to be easing.
Avanzado said these are also gigs for a cause. A portion of proceeds from the LA show will go to the JIR (Jesus Is Risen) Foundation while a portion of San Francisco ticket sales will help victims of Typhoon Odette, through an ongoing campaign by the ABS-CBN Foundation.
“It’s nice to know that we’re going to have fun while helping people in need. Everything is inclusive. We really want this to be more meaningful and the fact that this is one of the first or the first Filipino shows to take place here in America now (post-pandemic) makes it special for us and we want to live up to it. ‘waiting,’ says Avanzado.
