Local group ‘shines’ in aid of Methodist family health

Jason Lee Hale and The Personal Space Invaders will donate 100% of the proceeds from their original song to Methodist Family Health.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Jason Lee Hale and The Personal Space Invaders, a local band made up of musicians from all over Arkansas, are donating proceeds from their original song download, It’s time to shineto Methodist Family Health.

Proceeds from every download from now until 11:59 p.m. on Friday, December 31, 2021 will be donated to Methodist Family Health.

The song was written for Methodist Family Health’s new SHINE campaign in which the nonprofit organization encourages Arkansans to share their light with their communities so all can benefit.

“I didn’t know much about Methodist Family Health when they approached me about writing a song for them,” said Jason Lee Hale, originally from England, AR and now residing in North Little Rock, AR. “When I learned that they were over 120 years old and working with the children of this state and their families struggling with abandonment, abuse and neglect or struggling with psychiatric, behavioral, emotional and spiritual, I was inspired to write this song. After talking with my bandmates, we decided to donate all proceeds from downloads of the song until the end of the year.
