The Bristol Press – Central CT Chambers of Commerce’s Family Health and Wellbeing Expo set for Saturday

BRISTOL – The Central CT Chambers of Commerce Family Health and Wellbeing Expo this Saturday attracted more than 60 vendors and will provide a wide variety of health information and screenings.

The Family Health and Wellness Expo will be held Saturday, March 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bristol Eastern High School at 632 King St. in Bristol and health screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar and HCRA as well as foot screenings and strength tests.

“We are very pleased with the response we have had,” said Cindy Bombard, President and CEO of Central CT Chambers of Commerce. “We have both local hospitals, local gyms and chiropractors, vein centers, parks and recreation and so much more. It really is a great variety. »

This is the fifth year that the Chamber has organized the Family Health and Wellness Expo. Last year’s event was canceled due to the pandemic.

Bombard encouraged people to take advantage of screenings and have access to all the health information they need.

“It will be a one-stop-shop to meet a variety of health and wellness needs,” Bombard said. “There will be a lot of information you can find to help yourself or a friend or family member.”
